Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 April 2026
This policy describes how LPK Media Ltd. (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the Vaultrix marketing website and the Vaultrix browser extension. If anything here conflicts with the Chrome Web Store listing, follow the stricter protection for end users.
1. Who is responsible
LPK Media Ltd.
Email: support@lpkmedia.com
For a postal address or data-protection enquiries, contact us at the email above. We will respond within a reasonable time.
2. Scope
This policy covers (a) pages served from our Vaultrix website (for example the landing page at the site where this document is hosted) and (b) the Vaultrix extension distributed through the Chrome Web Store. Third-party sites you visit and wallet providers have their own policies.
3. Website — what we process
- Hosting and delivery. When you load the site, our hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver the page (for example IP address, user agent, timestamps). That processing is largely for security, operations, and abuse prevention.
-
Language preference. The landing page may store your selected display
language in
localStorageon your device so the choice persists between visits. We do not use this to identify you across unrelated sites. - Fonts. We load fonts from Google Fonts; Google may receive technical connection data typical of web requests. See Google’s privacy documentation for details.
We do not operate a login or account system on the marketing site, and we do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data through this site.
4. Extension — what we process
Vaultrix is built to evaluate risk and show safety prompts while you browse. Unless we explicitly say otherwise below, processing happens on your device.
- Remote rules (configuration data). The extension downloads a rules document over HTTPS (for example from cloud object storage). That file contains protection data such as host lists and declarative network rules. It is not arbitrary remote code: executable logic ships inside the extension package; the remote file updates configuration.
- URLs and page context. To assess risk and show overlays, the extension handles the active page URL and, when relevant, data needed for wallet safety prompts (for example transaction parameters shown in the prompt). We do not maintain a cloud copy of your browsing history for Vaultrix.
- Local storage. Settings (such as language), a cache of the last successful rules download, sync metadata, and aggregated counters (for example how many prompts were shown) are stored with the browser’s extension storage APIs on your device. We do not use this to build a cross-site advertising profile.
- No dedicated Vaultrix analytics pipeline. The extension is not designed to send your browsing content, passwords, or wallet secrets to our servers.
5. Legal bases (EEA / UK reference)
Where GDPR-style laws apply, we rely on appropriate bases such as: performance of a contract or steps prior to it where relevant; our legitimate interests in providing a security product, securing our infrastructure, and improving reliability; and, where required, consent (for example for optional communications if we add them). You may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, without affecting prior lawful processing.
6. Retention
Website server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and legal obligations. On-device extension data remains until you remove the extension or clear extension data in your browser settings, subject to how the browser implements storage.
7. Sharing and processors
We use infrastructure providers (for example website hosting and file storage for rules) to run the service. They process data on our instructions where applicable. We do not sell your personal information.
8. International transfers
Providers may process data in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, the United States, or other regions. Where transfers require safeguards, we use appropriate mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where applicable.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, and rights related to portability or automated decisions. Contact support@lpkmedia.com to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
10. Children
Vaultrix is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
